You have been prescribed REPLAGAL®, which is used to treat adults, adolescents and children from the age of 7 years who have been diagnosed with Fabry disease. It is used as long-term treatment to replace an enzyme that is too low or missing in your body. These materials provide further information about REPLAGAL® and how it works as a treatment for Fabry disease.
Fabry disease is a complex condition and each patient can be affected in different ways, experiencing varying degrees and combinations of symptoms. Symptoms can begin in childhood, although most appear during adolescence or early adulthood.
